Our Purpose
Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where you can connect with fellow gamers, share your passion, and contribute to a thriving community. We live in a diverse world, and that kind of variety makes our community a lot more fun and interesting, but only if we get along with each other. And to do that, we have to respect each other.
These guidelines are important because they help protect the community and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. They are designed to ensure that our community remains a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable space for everyone. They also help us avoid legal issues by prohibiting illegal activities and content.
By participating in our community, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

Embracing diversity in all its forms—backgrounds, experiences, and abilities—enriches our community and strengthens our collective efforts. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to contribute and succeed. When everyone moves together, we all move forward.
Passion: We are driven by a deep enthusiasm for what we do. Our passion fuels our creativity, dedication, and perseverance. It inspires us to push boundaries, overcome challenges, and strive for excellence. We believe that passion is contagious and can ignite a shared sense of purpose.
Fun: We believe that enjoying what we do is essential. By incorporating fun into our work, we foster a positive and engaging atmosphere. Fun sparks creativity, boosts morale, and enhances overall well-being. We believe that a playful spirit can lead to greater productivity and fulfillment.

Conflict Resolution & Enforcement
Community Moderation
Community moderators play a pivotal role in shaping the online experience for all members. Their responsibilities extend far beyond simply enforcing guidelines; they are the mediators, the conflict resolvers, and the guardians against harmful behavior. By actively addressing disruptive actions and fostering a culture of respect, moderators ensure that every member feels safe and comfortable participating.
Moreover, moderators are the catalysts for collaboration and knowledge sharing. They encourage members to exchange ideas, offer constructive feedback, and work together towards common goals. This active facilitation of cooperation not only enhances the overall community experience but also helps to build a sense of shared purpose and collective ownership.
It’s important to note that these moderators aren’t just employees at Second Quest only; active and engaged community members who have demonstrated a commitment to the community’s well-being are also added to the moderators. This ensures that the community itself has a voice in its governance and that its values and priorities are reflected in its moderation practices.
Ultimately, the goal of community moderation is to create a thriving and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered to contribute. By fostering a sense of community and shared purpose, moderators help to ensure that Second Quest and its members can achieve their goals together, building a strong and supportive community that benefits everyone involved.
Our moderators play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and positive environment for all community members. They are responsible for upholding the community guidelines and fostering a respectful atmosphere. Their duties include:
- Enforcing the guidelines: Moderators will actively monitor the community and take action against any content or behavior that violates these guidelines. This may include issuing warnings, removing content, or temporarily or permanently suspending accounts.
- Resolving conflicts: When disagreements or disputes arise between community members, moderators will step in to mediate and help find a peaceful resolution. They will listen to all sides, assess the situation objectively, and make fair and impartial decisions.
- Promoting positive interactions: Moderators will encourage respectful and constructive dialogue among community members. They may highlight positive contributions, organize community events, or facilitate discussions on topics of interest.
- Answering questions and providing guidance: Moderators will be available to answer questions about the community guidelines and provide guidance on how to navigate the community safely and effectively.
The decisions made by our moderators are final and binding. They are made with the best interests of the community in mind and are aimed at maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all members. We trust our moderators to exercise their judgment wisely and fairly, and we expect all community members to respect their authority and abide by their decisions.

By providing this information, you can help moderators take appropriate action and maintain a safe and respectful community for everyone.
