Welcome! We're so excited you're joining our community of gamers. Here at Second Quest, we believe that gaming is all about community. We're convinced that by working together and building the games we all want to play, we can create the most fun and engaging experiences around.

We want you to know that you're not just players to us; you're a big part of what we do! Your feedback, ideas, and engagement are super important to us. We're all about creating a community where you can share your thoughts and ideas, and we're committed to making sure your voices are heard. By participating in our community, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

Our Purpose

Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where you can connect with fellow gamers, share your passion, and contribute to a thriving community. We live in a diverse world, and that kind of variety makes our community a lot more fun and interesting — but only if we get along with each other. And to do that, we have to respect each other.

These guidelines are important because they help protect the community and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. They also help us avoid legal issues by prohibiting illegal activities and content.

Core Values

Collaboration

We believe in the power of working together. By sharing ideas, knowledge, and skills, we can achieve more than we ever could alone. Collaboration encourages diverse perspectives, leading to innovative solutions and greater success.

Everyone Together

We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Embracing diversity in all its forms — backgrounds, experiences, and abilities — enriches our community. When everyone moves together, we all move forward.

Passion

We are driven by a deep enthusiasm for what we do. Our passion fuels our creativity, dedication, and perseverance. It inspires us to push boundaries, overcome challenges, and strive for excellence.

Fun

We believe that enjoying what we do is essential. By incorporating fun into our work, we foster a positive and engaging atmosphere. A playful spirit can lead to greater productivity and fulfillment.

User Conduct

As a member of this community, there will be absolutely zero tolerance to:

Trolling

Any behavior intended to provoke a negative reaction, disrupt discussions, or upset other members. This includes, but is not limited to:

Discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind based on caste, community, religion, gender, sexual preferences, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or any other personal attribute. This includes, but is not limited to:

Harassment

Any form of harassment, including stalking, threats, intimidation, unwelcome sexual advances, doxing, and swatting is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:

Illegal Activities and Content

Engaging in or promoting illegal activities or sharing illegal content is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:

Respectful Communication

We encourage open and respectful communication. Here are some guidelines to ensure positive interactions:

Positive Community Engagement

We encourage you to actively participate in our community and contribute positively:

Content Sharing

When sharing content in our server, please adhere to the following:

Sharing of Ideas & Feedback

Within this community, our collective goal is to create the best games possible — and that thrives on the open exchange of feedback and ideas. It's natural that some of these ideas may be used by other members or by our studio to enhance the game, its mods, and content.

To foster a collaborative environment, we ask that you share only those ideas and feedback that you are comfortable with being used by other community members or by our studio. By participating and sharing your thoughts, you acknowledge that your contributions may be used to improve the overall gaming experience.

Privacy and Safety

Never share any personal information with anybody. Please take necessary precautions to protect your identity and personal information. Any information requested and collected by any member of staff at Second Quest is covered under our Privacy Policy.

Conflict Resolution & Enforcement

Community Moderation

Community moderators are the mediators, the conflict resolvers, and the guardians against harmful behavior. By actively addressing disruptive actions and fostering a culture of respect, moderators ensure that every member feels safe and comfortable participating. These moderators aren't just employees at Second Quest — active and engaged community members who have demonstrated a commitment to the community's well-being are also added as moderators. Their duties include:

The decisions made by our moderators are final and binding. We trust our moderators to exercise their judgment wisely and fairly, and we expect all community members to respect their authority and abide by their decisions.

Reporting Violations

Community members are encouraged to report any violations to a moderator. The report should include specific details, such as URL links to the violating posts, screenshots or other visual evidence, and any additional relevant context.

Consequences for Violations

We take violations of these guidelines seriously. The following outlines our warning system and the consequences for different levels of violations:

Violation Severity Consequence Example
Minor Infraction Warning Using inappropriate language, mild trolling
Repeated Minor Infraction Temporary Mute Continuously interrupting others, excessive spamming
Major Infraction Temporary Ban Sharing personal information without consent, serious trolling
